Choosing the Perfect Tennis Bag

When choosing a tennis bag you ll need to consider how much room you will need. Do you need to bring 2 rackets or 6? Size of the bag does matter. Choosing one too small will mean you ll have to bring 2 bags, but purchasing one that is too large will be cumbersome to take with you. Consider the number of rackets you will need to carry, as well as strings and extra grips. You ll also want to make sure you have ample room for the extra things you need too like sun screen, tennis balls, change of clothes including an extra pair of shoes. Look for a tennis bag that has comfortable handles and carry straps. Some of the tennis bags are meant to be carried as a backpack so determine ahead of time if that is a feature you desire.

When purchasing one of the popular top brand names like Wilson, Prince Pro, or Head make sure you put your name on the bag or visibly customize it in some way which makes it easily identifiable. This can help to end the confusion at the court when multiple identical bags are present. Also put some type of permanent identification inside the bag so it can be returned to you if it is lost.

So what are the top bags and price ranges? The Wilson tennis bags are definitely at the top of the list. Wilson has the patent-pending Thermoguard technology which keeps the racket cool. Price range is $50 to $60. In addition to the Thermoguard 6 pack, Wilson also has the Wilson Tour Super 6 tennis bag. This tennis bag also has the Thermoguard protection, can be worn as a backpack, and has 3 compartments which can carry 4 rackets each.

No matter your budget, you are sure to find a great tennis bag to suit your needs. Shop around and check out several brands before making your final decision.
